Our vision and core values help to describe both who we currently are as a church as well as the direction we believe God is leading us.

Core Values

1. Connecting through God’s Word
   We believe the anointed preaching, teaching, and study of God’s inspired Word is the catalyst for life transformation. Therefore, we will proclaim it with authority, teach it with relevance, study it with expectation, and live it with anticipation of Christ’s imminent return.

2. Connecting through Outreach
   We believe real life is found in a restored personal relationship with God through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. We believe sharing the Gospel with the lost is the first step in connecting people to God and to each other and for creating healthy disciples. Therefore we will share the love of Jesus Christ in our community and around the world.

3. Connecting through Service Together
   We believe God equips and empowers every believer with spiritual gifts, and provides the financial and physical resources to accomplish His work. We also believe our connection to God and to each other grows as we work together in ministry. Therefore, we are committed to equipping, instructing, and encouraging believers in the discovery, development, and use of their gifts and resources for service.

4. Connecting through Loving Friendships
   We believe the church is a family, with each member interdependent on the others, esteeming one another in love and honor. Therefore, we will support, encourage, and love one another so that the world may know that we are Christ’s disciples.

5. Connecting through Worship
   We believe inspired praise and worship of God, both corporately and individually, pleases Him. Therefore, our worship will involve practicing the presence of God in prayer, music, testimony, the sharing of our gifts and resources, the proclamation of His Word, and the celebration of the ordinances of Baptism and Communion.
